Help Partners debt is worrying me!

Hi, My partner has been living with me at my address for a year now and he has a csa debt of £1700, he neglected to advise the csa when he moved out of his previous address(Idiot!) because he was on a nil assessment and his circumstances remain the same.
Child support called him last week and advised him they had taken the debt to court and obtained a liability order and if he did not pay at least £70 pm they would send the bailiffs to my house.
He advised them that he was currently a student and as such did not have an income, the only income he receives is from NHS Bursary and pays my sons childcare, we also receive a joint claim of tax credits which is for working and child tax.
The bailiffs sent a letter today dated 26th Nov saying we had 7 days from the date of the letter to pay the amount in full, we could not make an arrangement over the phone but we could make an arrangement to pay in installments when the bailiff arrives with the paperwork.
I am really worried about this, I am 4 months pregnant and suffer from depression and I cant stop thinking about this, I dont want the baliff to come and remove my possesions as they mine and not his, Help what should I do?
Can they take my working and child tax credit because it is in joint names?
Can they take my possessions if not what can I do to make sure they don't?

Firstly, don't open the door.
Secondly, do a Statutory Declaration, listing all items that are solely yours.0 -
Bailiffs cannot remove your goods - you need a statuatory declaration listing your possessions.
Others will advise on the WTC and CTC.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

Start by ringing national debt line http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/england_wales/
They may well have a standard one on their web-site and direct you to it.
It costs about £5-10 to get it sworn at the solicitor's office.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
