Give the bread that Lidl bake in-store a try, it taste,s lovely,not like the wet raw dough that the supermarkets pass of as bread. £1-1.20 a loaf

Its average, it comes across as very good because its cooked in little and often batches by people who have had 2 hours training to turn them into master bakers !

Yes tried a few different breads when the bakery opened,its very similar to Co Op bread ok for a while then like a brick.

It is just part-baked stuff and just OK IMHO.
I prefer Sainsbury's and Tesco in store baked bread.

The cleaner at our local Lidl has an extra job now - reheating the bread every morning !
