    Not everyone who has a credit card spends to the limit. I understand that some people will - but it isnt mandatory to do so.

    I have two cards at the moment and i think between the two my limit is about £13k. I probably spend about £400-£500 each month (use the credit card rather than debit card) and then pay it off. When I first got the cards the limit was half that amount - they kept increasing it but at no point did i think 'free money'
