Just a quick moan! OH got a letter through from his credit card provider, Barclaycard, he currently owes around £1500 on it, been making min payments (as been concentrating on other higher interest debts). His current credit limit is £4,900 which is I believe too high but leaving it as it is. So the letter received states…

Not everyone who has a credit card spends to the limit. I understand that some people will - but it isnt mandatory to do so.

I have two cards at the moment and i think between the two my limit is about £13k. I probably spend about £400-£500 each month (use the credit card rather than debit card) and then pay it off. When I first got the cards the limit was half that amount - they kept increasing it but at no point did i think 'free money'
