My grandson's 13 and very into his XBox games.
Unfortunately his dad has banned anyone else from buying even more games as the boy's spending far too much time on his XBox...he's already getting two games for Christmas.
So completely stumped now and haven't a clue what to get him.
XBox has proved very useful to me over the last few years, with Chrismases and birthdays sorted!:)

If he's always on the XBox why not get him something outdoorsy?
Perhaps tickets for a football match or a stadium tour....if sports are not his thing cinema vouchers/ bowling/ lazer quest or karting/ high ropes challenge (the one near me is called Go Ape!)?
Not sure if he might be a bit young but you could also consider tickets for a concert?Stopped smoking 20th October 2012
This year I will have something that resembles a garden and not a building site!0 -
Thanks archiebear. He does like the cinema... a voucher might be a good idea0

I would go with money or a voucher to buy clothes at that age they start getting fashion conscious ps do not buy clothes for him, they will be wrong! xxxJanuary Grocery Challenge £203.50/£200

I have a 13 year old and he asked for an Xbox which I point blank refused to get cos I just can't afford one but he already has a wii, an iPod touch and his dads old pc to surf the net on. He's mad on minecraft so have bought him a tshirt from Amazon (not sure on quality but it looks ok, will see how it washes), a nice pair of headphones, a basketball to encourage him to get off his computer more and get outside! Plus some accessories for his bike, he does need a new bike but that will have to wait til nearer the summer. Apparently the are a few recycle bike shops in the city where I stay so that might be worth me trying them nearer the time.
I would say like others have said maybe something related to his computer games he likes playing or something to encourage him to go outdoors. Or something totally different like a Diablo? Two wooden sticks with string attached and a plastic thing you try and spin round on it, my son loves his, has been known to spend ours in the garden in the summer playing with it. I also got a great snowball maker gadget last year for him but he hasn't used it yet as we didn't have much snow last year. He is desperate for lots of snow to use it!
It's a tough age to know what to get them, I've really struggled knowing what to get and hoping its not too babyish.0 -
They really are a nightmare at that age. Ask him what he wants and he just shrugs..."dunno".
I like the ideas of clothes vouchers too, might go with that. Thanks0 -
I am not sure if your grandson uses them but what about xbox live or points for his xbox?
