I believe these are fees set down in law and were amended in 2006 so no matter where you live within England these fees will apply.
see http://www.opsi.gov.uk/si/si2006/uksi_20063395_en.pdf
Go to page 3 schedule 5 for the up to date fees0 -

BAILIFFCHASER.
Thank you for displaying the Scale of Fees provided by Medway Council.
I spend all day dealing with bailiff enquiries and complaints which of course mainly concern the fees charged by bailiffs.
However, is it any wonder that bailiff companies are not abiding to the statutory fee scale when their own clients ie: the local authorities, are producing documents such as the one that you have shown.
In April this year the fees scale was changed to introduce a higher first and second visit fee.
The first visit fee is now: £24.50
The second visit fee is now: £18.00
Medways scale of fees shows the visit fees as being £24.50 and £18.50 (should be £18.00).
I cannot tell you how often I have seen this.
A letter should be sent to the Head of Revenues at Medway asap.
PS: I have not had the time to check the rest of the document.
This was around easter time this year.ONLY COPY WHAT I AM DOING IF YOU ARE 100% SURE AND YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THE END RESULT MAY BE. ALWAYS CONSULT A PROFESSIONAL BEFORE FOLLOWING MY ADVICE. I AM NOT LEGALLY TRAINED . IF WHAT I AM DOING HELPS YOU IN ANY WAY CLICK THE THANKS BUTTON0
