Self employed - 2nd self employed job

I am already registered self employed and want to start another small self employed job.
Do i have to contact HMRC or do i just add it as another self employment on my next tax return?
I read somewhere that you must inform them within 3 months, is that relevant for my situation or just for newly self employed?

Hello jules9,
If it is a different line of self employment then you will need to complete a separate self employment schedule and submit it with your tax return as normal. You do not need to register another self employment with HMRC.Happy to help if required!
