Graduated to one length bob

Does anyone know how long it takes to grow a graduated bob to a one length bob, I'm not talking growing hair long, just having the bob all one length. I do like my graduated bob but I miss being able to tie it back and sometimes the back layers just stick out and I can't do anything with them. Does anyone else get this and have you grown your bobs out to one length?

Also, now most of the damage has been cut out of my hair (which is a good thing), my hair is going back to being greasy rather than dry and brittle and ends up looking greasy. I am still using the hair mask every wash that my hairdresser advised me to use but I don't feel I need it now. What would be the best thing to use for conditioner?

  • Put the mask on your middle to ends and not on your roots of your hair it'll be too heavy. Also graduated bob will make your hair look thicker you may just need to experiment with length of layers. If you have fine hair an 'all one length bob' will make your hair look thin. Altho just my opinion based on my own hair.
