I'll try and be brief.....
We have managed to save just over £30,000 and are looking to put down a £25,000 deposit on a £100,000 house.
My other half has a perfect credit history, I am now debt free, never made a late payment but did have a lot of debt (about £16000) over various cards and a loan. My experian report runs to 9 sides but all entries show as being paid (and closed) all with "0"s.
Is this likely to be ok ?
Thanks

You may want to consider waiting or putting more down as a deposit. Generally 70% LTV will unlock some great rates (compared to your 75%).Thinking critically since 1996....0
