Best place to buy Insanity workout or p90x

Options
I have read good things about the insanity workout, and think my husband would enjoy it. but it is so expensive on Amazon.

Can anyone recommend where to buy it cheaper (second hand is ok) - I had a look at ebay but was a bit put off since some sets are very expensive there as well, and some sellers look dodgy. Any recommendations?

Thanks

  • Amazon or tryinsanity.co.uk

The official site has a moneyback guarantee I think.

Second hand will still be expensive. I promise it's worth it, I've done it!

I'm looking to buy Insanity for hubby and maybe me but will wait a few months and see if all those who bought it for New Years resolutions are reselling it.

Its still really expensive everywhere I have found, if anyone sees it cheap please post. Cheers.
  • Before anyone goes to buy this (P90X), was speaking to a guy in my local gym & he said it's pretty much impossible to follow this workout unless you can afford to give up work as it is very time consuming.

He also said there are some good exercises on it, however, it's very costly & you need all the equipment to be able to do it properly.

Not trying to put anyone off, just offering people so info from someone who has bought this workout.
  • I would definitely recommend Insanity, it doesn't require any equipment just a pair of trainers, a gym mat and heart rate monitor helps but isnt crucial! Its fab to do an hour a day (I do it after work). Only problem is it makes you so hungry so compensate some added food to your grocery bill!

I wouldn't say you'd have to give up work for this - if you can put an hour aside each day to do it then you should be able to fit it in.

I did do P90x for about a month, however, I was also trying to train for a half marathon and continue going to my local gym. So yes, I gave it up cos I was doing way too much! But we did get good results and I was toning up well.

All we bought for it were a couple of yoga mats, a pull-up bar, and a set of those resistance bands, which were about £30 for the set so if you are going to keep using the programme then I guess these would pay for themselves. It is hard to keep motivated sometimes though, coz the workouts can be pretty tough :o
