Asda's Policy on staff absences?

Hi all,
Wonder if anyone who works/has worked for Asda can help me please?
I have been at Asda for just over 3 months. I started at the end of August and had two days off a month later with sickness + diarrohea (sp) then a couple of weeks ago my young daughter was unwell so nursery wouldn't have her and I didn't have anyone else to look after her so I missed one shift (obviously I told work) then since Tuesday my throat has been bad and dr has said I've got tonsillitus.I called into work because I can hardly speak and my line manager said it could go against me.
Do you think this means I could get the sack or will I just get a verbal warning?
Thanks

Doesn't matter what their policy says. You can get sacked just because. You have no employment rights since you've only been there over 3 months.0

Just had a quick flick through the handbook (which you 'should' of been given when you started) can't find anything obvious. The only things I can think of are, you won't get full bonus next year and you may get an overtime ban (but this was never fully enforced in our store!)0

As you have only been there for 3 months are you a christmas temp OP? I would go with that as you have no real employment rights they can actually dismiss you without having to give you any reason.0

Should have not should of.
You forgot the 'they can get rid of you at any time in the first two years for pretty much anything they want, handbook or no handbook' line.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0
