Waitrose was cheaper!!!

Fairy Platinum Dishwasher tabs were only £5 for 30 in my local Waitrose (although they are on offer). The same ones were on offer in Tescos for £6.
Waitrose really are trying to be competitive. Good job cos we don't have a Tesco nearby.

    The perception is that Waitrose is a really expensive place to shop but there are bargains to be had and I don't just mean YS.

    Also if you shop online, yes the minimum order is £50 but you get free delivery all of the time.

    I believe Waitrose have a price match guarantee on all branded goods with Tesco so should never be more expensive. I have no idea how non-branded goods compare though.
    If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor...

    Bought President butter in Waitrose today as it was 5p cheaper than Sainsburys.
