Clearing our old debts and tidying up my credit record

Hi,
I've got two credit agreements totalling ~£500 and a CCJ of £587.
Credit agreements:
I've attempted to clear the credit agreements off after checking my credit report. They're listed as Arrow Group but have been passed to Rossendales. I've got my case number for them both but Rossendales isn't accepting that number via their automated service and I can't seem to contact a real person. Does anyone know how to do this?
CCJ:
This was part of an OU course that I was doing. Just prior to the course, having signed up for the student credit agreement, I left my wife and that address behind. I completely forgot about that commitment and it wasn't until I had a credit report a couple of years later that I saw it on there. I didn't receive any court summons and I've heard this is a cause for the CCJ to be invalid.
I've got the means to pay both debts and am willing to pay but I don't know what my next steps are. Any help would be great.

Why would the CCJ be invalid considering you didn't update the creditor with your new adress after moving?LBM 11/2009 Total Debts 11/2009 £44624 with DFD 2015

I'm struggling to work out if you consider that as genuinely useful advice or you're just petty point scoring on a forum.0 -
Heres the customer service enquiry line telephone number for Rossendales. This is not the automated enquiry line.

Why would I want to point score? It isnt the creditors responsibility to update adress changes but yours. So if the creditor has send court documents to the last known address then that is all they need to do.

No but if I am issued a summons it needs to have actually gone to me. So what I'm after is facts rather than conjecture.0 -

Unfortunately not. If you had given your address to the creditor and could prove it you might be able to get the CCJ set aside and then negotiate to pay the creditor which would remove the CCJ from your record. But if you didn't then you won't.LBM 11/2009 Total Debts 11/2009 £44624 with DFD 2015

Ok, so next steps and implications for the CCJ? Does that remain on my record for 6years paid or otherwise?0 -

The CCJ will fall off your credit file 6 years from judgement date, paid or not. But please note, CCJ don't have a statue barred limit and you will still have to settle it.LBM 11/2009 Total Debts 11/2009 £44624 with DFD 2015
