Hiya,
My friend is today going to court to provide financial information for a CCJ she has, she has completed a SOA which shows that if she offers £500 per month ( debt is £6000 ) then she will have a surplus at the end of the month of £369
My question is whether having that much of a surplus is deemed a negative and whether they will say to her she can afford more?

So after reasonable living expenses and paying the £500, they would still have a surplus of £369 per month?
If so, I would think the court would likely want them to pay most if not all the surplus towards the debt.
