If they're sensible they'd accept £35. They have already wasted one lot of court fees and (without knowing the details here) if you have achieved set-aside then the court must already view you as having a defence with a reasonable chance of success.

Would it be easier to contact the claiment and request the total then just pay it,then job done ?

Personally I would go for paying the original creditor.

(If the "claimant" is a bunch of bottom feeding solicitors you might get complications with the costs they just got disallowed...)

You get a receipt. Assuming the "claimants" are not the original creditor then you call the claimants and advise them that you have paid the outstanding in full.

Write a letter to the claimants confirming your telephone call and enclosing a copy of the receipt.

If they issue further proceedings then you have a solid defence and probably a complaint to the SRA (assuming the claimant is a firm of solicitors).

It was for a ppi thing never seen a refund and £35 is for the fees outstanding apparently and that's what they issued the CCJ for

There are obviously no fees outstanding as they deduct it from your settlement which is what the judge ain't happy about as I haven't seen any money, the claiment is the person who dealt with it all not a 3rd party.I think get in contact with the claiment and pay the amount then it's all sorted ?
