I have heard nothing either but bearing in mind it took from July last year to yesterday for Talk Talk to credit my £15 goodwill gesture to my account (following my complaint) then I don't mind a few weeks wait.

(I think my recent email to Charles Dunstone top bod at Talk Talk did the trick, a couple of hours later the high level complaint dept were onto it )

I got an email from Jayne within 5 minutes of submitting the review and informing her by email, saying she would send out within a week. She then sent another saying should receive by 23rd and apologises for the delay as the response was amazing.

I saw my review on the site but when I checked later it had disappeared. Didn't check the word count but I rambled on a bit so probably 200.
  • Hi you lot

First of all thank you for all the lovely comments and e-mails. I must admit sitting here on a sunny Saturday afternoon while my children play outside and I am still reading reviews, I wish i had never started this promotion!. Just kidding. Well not really, it is a longh slog. But I have got the vouchers, and I am busy doing a mail merge of 2,000 addresses at least and I am still reading reviews, and I am still answering e-mails from people saying 'where is my voucher'. About 50 a day!!!

I am doing my best and I am sorry its taken so long but I never expected such a big response and this is the first thing I have ever done on the internet. Throw in the fact that I am only meant to work 3 days a week; have had one child off all through Easter with chickenpox; plus I had laser surgery on my eyes last friday, which makes reading a bit tricky and I am sure you can appreciate that I am up against it.

And I know som eof you have suggested we take on extra staff and we are for one or two days but to be honest, Schoolsnet is a small part of a fairly small educational publishing company. We're not Tesco. We have spent all our budget on this promotion and there is not a lot left for anything else. [/I]

And as for those of you whose reviews weren't long enough; again I am sorry but it was clearly stated and was only meant for Mumsnet users. We have extended the orginal promotion from 1,000 to 2,500 which is amazingly generous of teh company; so we have to stick to the guidelines. Plus 100 words isn;t really much and ideally we would ask for much more. It's not fair on those that have done the right thing if we don't enforce the rules; plus the reviews don't have much value for other parents when reading them if they are not long enough.

So there you go, they will start coming out this week. Thank you for your patience and I hope you wil come on to the site and start filing in your profiles and joining the community and encouraging your friends to write reviews - not for vouchers - but because it is really useful for parents.

    And enjoy the sunshine.

    Take care,

it's one lady slogging her whatsits out, not like the Boots/Lovefilm fiasco.
she is spending her free time to let people here know what is happening.
if it hadn't been posted here you probably wouldn't have had a chance anyway. You get what you get when you get it. learn to live with it.
Jayne, take a break, you need it.
I didn't do a review but I'm getting pee'ed off with some of the "gimme now" brigade who bleat on and on and just slag people off.
