Does anyone have any ideas for gifts that my DGSs - 6 and 4 - can make (with a little help from Gran!)?
Thanks in advance.

Decorate a bauble with stickers, glitter glue and pens. Use shatterproof ones for safety.
Make placemats for Christmas Day - colour pictures from the Internet or get the children to draw their own, then laminate.
Coasters can be made in a similar way. You could also laminate photos for coasters. Home Bargains have a set of two mugs to decorate for £2.99, complete with porcelain pens. This could make a nice set.
Decorate a wooden spoon with google eyes, wool hair, etc.
Wilkinsons have a pack of two cupcake trinket boxes for £4, including sequins for decorating.
Buy a canvas from the pound shop and let the children make their own artwork.
Not really a gift, but we're painting two plates this year, one for Santa's snack and one for Rudolph. I bought two cream plates for 99p each from The Range.0 -

My children aged 6 and 2, are making Grandma's a canvas picture with buttons stuck on in the shape of a heart

very simple idea for the two of them to do together but very effective in my opinion! x0 -
Oh we have done "handprint calanders" in the past too - which made a lovely gift too

I've seen chocolate slabs on this board that look great to do with kids. You could even get them to make their own label/packaging for them too. They'll have a great time picking out mummy and daddys favourite sweets and sprinkling them on the chocolate.0
