Free Santa Letter

Last year my 4 year old niece duly wrote and posted a letter to Santa, using a First Class Stamp and enclosing an SAE also using First Class stamps. She didn't receive a letter so a very disappointed little girl and a nice profit for Royal Mail, because I know of three other children who also did not receive letters.

This year I'm acting as Santa and writing my own letter to my niece.

  • Last year I ordered a free letter from Www.goodheartgifts.co.uk - you can pay for the letter with extras, but I chose the free option and it was emailed to me to print out myself. It was really good, personalised, and my son loved it. I'm doing the same this year.

If it is important to your niece to receive it through the post, you could just pass it to her parents and ask them to pop it in with any post they receive.
  • We do this every year through the Royal Mail (always with a 2nd class stamp and never enclose a SAE) and my daughters always get one back. We do send them early though, well before the deadline just incase. I suppose with things like this there will unfortunately always be a few who miss out, which is a shame.

Or why not give a couple of quid to NSPCC and use their service....
