Hope this is the right place to post, but I have only just discovered that you can get Nectar points when shopping at John Lewis.
Absolutely gutted as I purchased a new electric cooker two weeks ago and didn't know about this.
Have they been in Nectar for very long?
Many thanks.

Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time

According to the Nectar site: Collect DOUBLE points until 3rd December - that's 4 points per £1 spent! Offer ends 03 December 2012 and Points will ONLY be awarded on purchases from johnlewis.com Points will NOT awarded on purchases made via mobile phones.
It isn't clear whether that means the "offer" is just the double points, or any points! I assume it will be "normal" points from Tuesday. No doubt it will become clear in due course.
It appears to apply only to internet orders, although there is a confusing reference to "the store" which I thought meant a JL shop. (It says "Prices and points values stated here are for guidance only and may vary once you've reached the store". )--
