Credit Scoring...

Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right forum for this Q; I used to use this forum quite a lot when I was really struggling with debt...thankfully after 5+ years of scrimping and putting my life on hold I'm FINALLY back in the black (yay!) but I'm still having problems with my credit report.

I NEVER want to take out another loan / credit card / store account in my LIFE (learned that the hard way!), but I do want to get a mortgage at some point and I'm worried my poor credit rating will affect this detrimentally.

I got my free Noddle report; according to that I am 'up to date' on all my remaining accounts, I have no insolvencies or CCJs recorded, I am not linked to anyone else...yet I have a 1/5 credit score! Does anyone know why this might be or how I can set about improving this....?

Thanks in advance! :)

  • Credit scores mean absolutely nothing as each lender has their own internal scoring system :)
