Sorry if this is the wrong place, but couldn't find anywhere more suitable!
I have a pair of knitted Ugg's and frankly they need cleaning! I wondered if anyone else had the knitted one's and had machine washed them? Thinking a wool wash might be ok???

Isn't there a ticket inside them to advise?

Says to wipe clean with a cloth. Not really gonna help though0

I would.
But then that's coming from someone who managed to get an Ikea chair into the machine once. :rotfl:
I'd put them in on the most gentle (that's not necessarily wool) option you have on your machine.Herman - MP for all!0 -
Put them in a pillow case with an old towel to stop them bashing about so much.
On a gentle wash with the lowest spin setting your machine has (mines has a handwash setting... if you have something similar then maybe try this)0 -
Just an idea (never tried so don't blame me!) but how about using a foaming carpet/upholstery type cleaner?0

With this kind of thing, my view would be that if I wasn't going to wear them in the state they're in then what's the harm in trying. I've had some "dry clean only" stuff I'd never go to the trouble/expense of dry cleaning so I've chucked them in the wash and they've been alright. They'd only sit in the wash pile dirty forever otherwise!0

MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.0 -
Gonna give a whirl (excuse the pun!) tonight.
I've read about people with the normal Ugg's putting them in the wash and they've come out fine. Fingers crossed.0
