You can give them rounded corners or inlay sleeves that open out into dreadfully creased 'mini posters', but let's face it, CD cases are generally rubbish.
But hold on a minute, here is one that is anything but rubbish. It's by a chap called Paul Steel and not only does it look like a Mr Men book and come with crayons and a badge, but the CD on the inside sounds great too. What are the chances?
Paul Steel claims to be unlike other singer-songwriters. He is right. He is a bit unhinged, for one thing. His new album, 'April & I', is about a lifelong relationship with his imaginary friend.
As well as having his head in the clouds, Paul Steel is a Brighton-based, Beach Boys-influenced one-man The Feeling. 'Alice & I' is limited to just 1,500 copies and we have three to give away, with crayons and badge included. Obviously!
