Hi all
Been a while since I last posted on here I'm now about 2 months from auto discharge and I got a letter in the post from the OR stating that he is applying the the secretary of state for business innovation and skills to be released as trustee and also attached of copy of his invoice for my reference
What does this mean? Will I never hear from him again? I've not heard a thing about an iPad so assume I won't get one?
Any help much appreciated

hi this is a standard letter, it just means that the OR is stepping down as trustee, usually this means that everything is done, but not necessarily so as the option is always open for them or someone else to be reappointed if another matter comes up that needs to be sorted. But for most people it is the last they will ever hear about itHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

Thanks for this, do you receive any notification if you happen to get discharged early for any reason or not? Also am I rihhg in thinking that ppi claim I've been pondering doing is not worth it as I won't see a penny even if I'm discharged?0 -
Yes if you got ED then you would get a letter. As for the ppi. It is not your claim anymore it is the OR'S claim. If you have information about a possible asset like this you should declare that to the OR and leave it to themHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

That's fine I won't bother even trying to claim the I assumed once discharged then the OR would have no say in finances anymore is there anthing else I'm not entitled to suchas llottery wins football bets monetary gifts etc0

You still have to declare any changes in income or expenditure from now until your discharge. And PPI based on finance taken out before BR belongs to the OR because it is a pre-BR asset always. Once discharged you can do the lottery etc and not declare winnings unless in an IPA and even then it is the interest they would look at as an IPA is affected by your income rather than your assets once discharged."Our prime purpose in this life is to help others.
