    Hi everyone,

    Thanks for starting us off DNMS.
    OF - I'm quite grateful there's only my DH's this month & FIL next month birthday wise!
    Sibles - Congratulations on being debt free! I can't wait to say the same, just over a year to go for me!


    Today I have/will:-
    • Made use of free water & milk at work
    • Staying in for my lunchbreak to avoid spending
    • Food from stores
    • Dinner from meal plan - The HM frozen spag bol we didn't end up having on Monday :o
    • Charged phone at work
    • Heating off as long as possible, lots of layers are the way forward
    • Daily clicks etc on Sw@gbucks - Getting closeish to my first voucher now!
    • Log calories using free app
    • Check online banking
    • Surveys
    • Declutter & flylady
    • Check for new mystery shopping opportunities
    • Enter some comps
    • Need to update grocery challenge still...I have completely lost track of it now, all I know is I am over budget by a lot!
    • Sort out items to return to New L00k
    • Make use of TKD membership
    • Read Martin's email
    • Stay motivated

    Today I have:

    ~Put final touches to repairs to washing machine.

    ~Booked two tickets to the Nutcracker ballet in the city for £7.

    ~Paid last bill for credit card 2...2p!

    ~Having a big catch up on all the wee finance tasks I've been ignoring this week.

    ~Went to work, ghastly day, but it pays the bills!

    ~Delayed having Sky/Freesat installed for another couple of weeks. (We can't get Freeview reception here.)

    ~Sorted out £106 council tax payment that I'd paid but council hadn't received.

    ~Listened to Money Box on the radio: Link.

    ~Downloaded free podcasts from the BBC. Link.

    ~Read Martin's email. Link.

    ~Find out when our housing association gives us two free weeks this Christmas.

    Rising - my April isn't much better.... my Dads, FIL, 2 cousins, 2 friends children and SIL. :eek:

    My quietest month is October....we have no birthdays in October.

    Hi to all the regulars and welcome to any lurkers and newbies :wave:, you've joined a FAB supportive thread.

    Not been feeling too great and have been hemorrhaging money left, right and centre but am hoping that nothing else can go wrong for me now (new boiler, new fridge-freezer, chipped windscreen, damage to garage wall all within last 4 weeks) so apart from the everyday little DFW things and work I've not done a great deal, feeling a little better today so going to try a little harder Todays little list

    Paid in cheque refunded by old gas supplier
    Post eBay parcel (max postage I could charge was £4.50 but it cost me £9.95!!!)
    Received free bowl from McCain wedges packs
    Sold 2 items on eBay
    Bought kids Santa toys for Xmas party at weekend
    Signed up to 2 MS for Monday
    Went to cinema using orange code. Twilight was amazing!!!
    Worked flexi time extra hours
    Dinner/lunch from stores
