Sourz fusions competiton complaint

I won the sourz fusions competition twice a few weeks apart and only received one case of product so i emailed them asking where the other one was.
They told me that i was only allowed one case even though i won on separate dates!
no where in there terms and conditions does it mention that you cannot enter to win multiple times and i know quite a few people on here have won a few cases and received them.
I wouldn't be bothered normally but they seem to have a bit of an attitude problem with me when i have been being extremely polite to them.
Just in the process of emailing them back including there own terms and conditions in the email to see what they say.....

    Just received the following reply

    Hi Victoria,

We have double checked and can confirm there was a glitch at one point in the competition that allowed for multiple entries to win more than once. This was a temporally problem at one point and has since been fixed.

The T&C's that you have pointed out clearly state that there is one crate of Sourz Fusionz per winner. As you are a winner, and have received your crate of Sourz Fusionz, we have therefore fulfilled that agreement. This means that people who enter the competition after already winning a prize will bot be able to claim another prize.

HOWEVER, in light of the fact that you were a winner during the time that there was a temporary glitch with the competition mechanic, we have decided to award you an additional prize as a gesture of good will.

We hope that you can understand our position and accept the additional prize.

We have your details on record so I will personally add your details onto the next list for our dispatch team.

    Kind Regards

You know I'm pretty sure the T&C's never said that previously as it was discussed on the I Won forum. In fact a member messaged them and was told it was ok to win twice.

I cannot prove they have changed the T&C's though.

[url= https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4237793This [/url] is the original comp post. Second post down is T&C copied and pasted the same day as the comp was posted. 6b says onecase per winner. Don't see how they can have changed the terms really.

  • but the T&C never said you can't enter more than once and win on separate occasions it just says that when you win your receive one case? that's how i took 6b to mean.
i think it can be interpreted differently which is convenient for the company

No, badly written terms and conditions do not benefit the company, it's the opposite.
You were a winner and you won one crate. You were a winner a second time and should have received another crate. There's nowhere in those T&Cs that state you cannot enter more than once, or win more than once.

Well I received an email saying they would not honour my 2nd win because there had been a "glitch" with the competition.

I replied politely letting them know I thought it was a bit unfair, but that I accepted their decison.
I also said I would be informing ASA and the IPM just so they could make sure that they didn't experience anymore "Glitches" in future.

I then received another reply informing me of how sorry they were and that my crate has been dispatched. :)

  • well done mrmshaw threatening them with ipm seems to work wonders

    just had this email

    Hi Victoria,

Just to confirm, your details have been passed onto our dispatch team for your prize.

I'd like to apologise on behalf of Sourz. You are one of a small collection of people who unfortunately experienced a temporary problem with this competition. To rectify this situation we have awarded everyone involved with an additional prize.

Please feel free to get in touch if you would like to discuss this further.

    Kind Regards

  • I have won twice with no problem. From the same email address and the same delivery address, my second crate came yesterday (although it was packaged totally differently!)
