I have closed a fixed rate account and lost 180 days gross interest can i claim this against tax thanks

- haven't earned any interest
- therefore haven't paid any tax on the interest you didn't earn
- yet you still think you are entitled to a rebate of the tax that you never paid

You can't claim the income tax back, hmrc class it as loss of capital!!
