Good luck to your sister, we too started from scratch about 6 years ago, and we were given so much, the only things we bought were wardrobes. We are still using most of the stuff too, the only thing we got new was a 3 piece as my son moved into a flat with a very small lounge & we passed on the 3 piece we had & it's still going strong.

I had to smile at this, it reminded me of the time my ex and i bought a chair from the local thrift shop. It was a wheely one and i pushed him all the way down the high street home on it!
