    Thanks for the comp.

Would you be ok just to edit the title for indexing by date/clarity please eg:

    E: 11/12 HMV Christmas entertainment & tech bundle(Twitter)
    rather than:
E 11/12 HMV Christmas entertainment & tech bundle
    Just click edit & advanced.You may have to trim the title to fit eg;

E: 04/12 (6pm) WIN Allergy Health Test Plus (FB)
If left as is it will be indexed wrong so you end up with the issue that can be seen on page 1 of this view of the board.Plus we may lose it to Game Over.

7 How can I amend my thread title if I need to?
To edit the thread title you can click 'Edit' then select 'Go Advanced'.

    TitleAmend1.jpg

    TitleAmend2.jpg

The next screen will show your post & above it you will see 2 boxes 'Reason for Editing', which you don't have to complete & also 'Title' which has your thread title info in it.
Simply click into the Title box & amend your text as necessary.

    Thanks for posting.

I'm not sure if it went through ok as after I entered my details and answer and clicked enter the next page confirmation only showed the answer, and the name and email space was empty!!! Anyone else have this happen?

  • I've changed the title now. Thanks for pointing that out :-)

They must be getting the entries as the site has just tweeted that they've got loads tonight. I am assuming it's all us from MSE lol
  • Guys I am fairly new to this comp lark. If it says the comp closes on 11th December, when do they have to notify winners? Is there a rule for this?

It's just I have entered a few comps (with different websites...one with very.com) recently and haven't seen them posting details of who won.

Sorry if I'm being stupid :)

Just realised that one of the DVDs is a Tim Minchin one.. I was going to enter again but does that mean I'll be disqualified, or will they accept both entries?

Why would you bump to ask this or enter again when it clearly states:

The winners will be chosen randomly and notified by email after the closing date of 11th December 2012 at midday. In accordance with our privacy policy, your information will not be given to any third parties. Please also note that there may only be one entry per household. No cash alternative

I suggest you direct further queries on the comp rules to the twitter account running the comp as no-one here has more info than that.

    Good luck
    Jo x
