I applied to Payplan last week and have sent off all my letters to my creditors (last Thursday)
I am waiting to get the correct amounts for all my creditors so I can send them my statement of affairs (or whatever it's called)
Today, I received a letter from a local Solicitor acting on behalf of HSBC to recover the debt of £9k for my personal loan on my current account.
I was with a fee-paying debt management company until January, but they were always paying my bills late and I was still accruing interest, so I kind of buried my head in the sand
and left it till last week to sort something out.
Should I phone the solicitors and tell them it's in the hands of Payplan now, or should phone HSBC and let them know.
I feel sick, I'm in floods of tears, and though my LBM was last week, I really think it's sunk in today.
I don't know if I want to be here anymore, if I just got on a plane and left, my DH and DS would be better off.

Hi
If you have signed up with Payplan I would give them a call and tell them about it, presumably you included HSBC in your list of debts to pay. They will be able to give you the best advice.
You should expect lots of demanding letters now you've sent out the letters, I understand this is normal process don't be intimidated stick to you're guns and keep paying payplan.
You'll be ok.0
