Recently resigned form a job with the bank and when i first started last year my first 3months wages were taxed a rediculous amount due to being on wrong tax code (basic rate) i reckon im owed a couple of hundred pounds. When do you recieve your p60, i know you get it from your employer...should it arrive sometime soon or am i best ringing the HR department?
Also when i do get it do i send that off with covering letter and the 3 wage slips? or should i not bother sending wage slips?

Your employer has until the end of May to issue a P60. However, you may not get one as you were not working for the employer at tax year end. Some still issue them, some dont!! I would call the payroll dept and see if you will get one.
When you do send it along with a letter to the tax office requesting a refund. If you dont receive one then you can call the tax office and ask them what info they require for you to reclaim your tax back (there is a form) but they should have details of your P45.
