How do I got about getting mine? Do I have to do one for each address I have lived at? Is it expensive?

  • Hi there...to get your credit reports, best way is to write to them using template letter below with a cheque for £2, they are legally onliged to send it to you then. This template is for Experian, you will need to get the addresses and who to make chqs payable to off the websites of the two main others which are Equifax and CallCredit. Hope this helps you!

    There is a section on both Experian & Equifax's websites that allows you to apply online for your statutory credit reports @ a cost of £2 per report. You only need to apply for 1 report from either or both of them & give details of your previous 6 years history. You will need a credit/debit card to do this. Otherwise, as said earlier, send a letter & cheque for £2 to the addresses shown on the web sites.
    Donedoingdebt Lightbulb moment January 2000. Debt at highest approx £102,000. Debt now (October 2009 - absolutely fork all!!!):beer:
