Do you have a radiator booster?

Options
Please would you give your opinion on whether these radiator boosters work and the cheapest stockist.

I've looked at the Which report and several Eco suppliers but can't decide if its worth the £25 outlay. There's a mark 3 system which reduces the vibration noise apparently but how noisy is it? Does it plug in or run by battery?

    is it this?

    Size: 610 x 60 x 60 mm
    Weight: 240 grams
    Material : recyclable Polypropylene
    Mains power adapter: 100 - 240 V AC 50/60 Hz
Mains cable length: 1.9 M (extensions available)
    Mains consumption standby: 0.15W
    Mains consumption active: 1.25W
Thermostat activation point: 30 degrees Celsius

I'm guessing it's run off the mains electricity?

    Thank you fannyadams.

I'm surprised Argos sell them, I was searching all the Eco stores online.

It's out of stock now
  • Big thread debating the merits of radiator boosters here:
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1253001

Summary: unlikely to save any money let alone pay for themselves, but could mean you feel the benefit of obstructed / undersized / out of the way radiators more than without the booster.
