Asset Link Capital - Advice required...
Options
Hi,
I have posted this in Debt free wanabee but thought I would have more success here.
I posted a while back about an outstanding debt with Asset Link Captial, see thread below for more info
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...ght=asset+link
Since then, they have been to the County Court to get us to pay more than we could afford and the court sided with us on paying them £300 per month. Hurrah.
The only problem now is that they are charging interest of the amount still outstanding circa £18k, so instead of paying it off in 5 years it's now going to take even longer.
The Question:
Is there any way we can get the interest frozen??
I have just spoken to the court and they have said that they (ALC) are legally entitled to charge interest, but surely there must be a way of stopping it.
Note: If any one requires their address by the way, as they hide behind a PO Box number until you get court papers, you can find them here;-

I have also registered their website domain https://www.assetlinkcaptial.co.uk and was wondering what to do next with it. Any suggestions??
Any help on the first question would be most helpful.
Thanks
