Public/Product liability insurance

Options
Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a discharged bankrupt friendly insurer to get public/product liability? I've worked hard for three months to get my business off the ground only to be stumbling at the last hurdle in which I'd like to protect myself against the possibility of being sued! I'm struggling to find an insurer who will insure my business despite being dc for 3 years :(

What industry are you working in?

I ask because depending on what you do, going for an industry-specific insurance company may be an easier way in.

My business insurance is with a particular company that also covers my gear as well as public liability and indemnity. They went away and thought about the bankruptcy but still OK'd it in the end.

btw I don't get my AD until next month.

  • Hi, thanks for the reply. It's baby goods I'm selling. I've designed them and they're being manufactured in China. I think i'm going to have to approach a few local brokers and cross my fingers!
