How long for mortgage offer?
Worried
Hi, just a quick one. Our valuation survey was done last friday (13th). How long does it usually take to get the mortgage offer out, if all was ok? DO we get the valuation report with the mortgage offer? Sorry, FTB and no idea of timescales. When you don't know when things are supposed to happen, it's hard to know if you haven't received something you should have and it's time to chase it up!

Normally very quick
I had one survey done yesterday for them and the offer letter was issued yesterday!
Have you gone via a broker? They should be able to find out straight away if the mortgage has been offered.
Was it a basic valuation or a more detailed survey?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. It was a basic valuation. Would we receive a copy of the mortgage offer and valuation report, or would it go to solicitor?0

YOu would get a copy of both.
Your solicitor will also get a copy, and your broker if you used oneI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
