Don't know if it will work but just realised that Bank of Scotland are also offering the Vantage bonus (not quite the same as Lloyds but still useful) and so have applied for a Classic Vantage account.
If that works perhaps it's possible to get another one too? Seeing saving rates almost disappear is making it difficult to make any interest without dipping my scaredy toes into the sea of investment.
My fingers are crossed for a successful application, though I'm sure that there are people here who can tell if it's allowed or not?
