Have I been Mis-advised by my bank?

There is a repossession order on my property as I am in arrears, the property has recently been lett. For the last 2 months I have been talking to 6 different representatives from my Bank to arrange re payments however on the 7th occasion I have been told that no arrangement can be put in place as I have the wrong type of mortgage to let the property and there for the areas have to be paid in full to stop the repossession order. I even sent the current letting agreement to confirm I had money coming in to make the increased payments on the Banks advisement.
If I had been made aware of this 2 months ago instead of chasing up my bank to get this sorted out, I may have been able to arrange funds from Family, loans, etc to clear the arrears.
I feel I have been mis-advised by the bank as to the best cause of action and the full ramifications of the situation. Is there anything I can do?

Get a buy to let mortgageDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Normally if you have taken out a mortgage on a property you say you are going to live in you have to ask the bank if you then decide to let the property. When you don't tell them you might be entering a grey area related to fraud.
So you might make matters worse if you attack them over this.
Hopefully there will be someone along soon who may know better. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
