Anyone else have a 'Your Food' call?

Had a call today from 'Your Food' congratulating me on being 2nd in their competition where I could get two weeks worth of food for £40 - equivelant to getting the 2nd week half price or something. Told him no thanks, just wondered if anyone else had the call or even if they can shed any light on the comp in question I'm drawing a blank :)

Sounds like a marketing ploy similar to what used to happen in the Kirby selling days. You get told you have won something but then you end up paying for it. Forget it and move on. If you genuinely win something then - there should be no fees to pay at all.

I also received a call from them today saying "congratulations you have won.......errr !!!!!! all basically.

The number Your Food called me from was 01202697100, if anyone wants to make a note of it so you don't get disappointed if they call.
  • OMG! whilst reading this THEY RANG ME!!!
I have won 2nd prize too, but mine is for £70 off a food plan. The cheapest they do is about £140 so this is to save 50%. The first prize was for the full amount for one of the plans. I have asked him to email the details to me and he did confirm the correct email address so ...will report back when i have more info. How spooky!

Got the same call for £70 off, didn't realise would have to pay something ourselves, I did ask him to email the details but got nothing yet
  • Grrrrr  I too took this call at work thinking it was a win, he actually said "you have won", surely this can't be right for a company to do this?

Asked for email details as I couldn't talk on the phone, was all excited coz I thought I won a meal plan for a week :( The email confirmed the £70 off code, while still having to pay £70 for a week's worth of food for one

Also, the name of the company is My Food.
