You have to type in the code which is in the email. There is also a separate box to type in your card number if you want to also get 300 extra points. In my haste, I shouted to my son to get my card out of my bag and I pressed 'continue' to see what was on the next page, thinking that I would go back and fill in the card number. When I pressed 'back', the card number box was then blocked out, so I could not fill in my card number at that point even if I wanted to.
