company gone bust! help!!

Recently placed an order for both wedding and bridesmaid dresses with a company that have now gone into administration am left with no dresses and down £500 on deposits. I paid on visa debit card do I have any fall back? be great full of some advice pls

    I was the same as you, had paid this company £900 towards a wedding dress and they hadn't even placed the order with the designer. I too paid with Visa Debit card and sent in a letter to my bank (there is a template on here - just search visa debit chargeback). Anyway, the bank have refunded the money and I have reordered my dress through another shop which stocks the designer of my dress.

    Its definitely worth trying to claim back from your bank. I didnt have wedding insurance so this has been a real blessing.
