Bare Minerals/Escentuals question

Hi
Have just opened a brand new get started kit and have applied everything as taught by the consultant. I have found that I do not get the coverage that the consultant got, she said to just keep buffing to build up the cover.
My theory is that she is using a brush that has a lot of residual foundation in it which is why she can keep buffing and get better coverage. does anyone agree with me, did you find the same when you first tarted using it. I think I added foundation to the lid at least three times.

Hi,
I found this too. I recently went back to Bare Minerals after a break so got the starter kit too. I LOVE the primer! Have never used one before.
Anyway, I found that after a few goes, the coverage does build up more quickly. I found the change in my skin has been fab too!0 -
I also had that problem when I bought the starter kit, to help build up the brush I swirled it in the lid, then turned the brush upside down and tapped it on my dresser to make the powder sink into the bristles.0

Regular use will cause the minerals to build up in the brush and give you better coverage.
Which brush are you using OP? The best brush to use for maximum coverage is the Kabuki Brush. I use this in the winter and the flawless application brush in the summer for lighter coverage.

I am using the full coverage for the foundation and mineral veil and the smaller brush for the warmth. I have got one of the squat kabuki brushes from MAC but I find it quite prickly. I quite fancy the flat top kabuki brush. I also read that washing them helps to soften them a bit more.
My method is to swirl and tap but I also tap the end of the handle to get the foundation to drop into the bristles.£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far

I am using the light/fairly light. The fairly light is perfect for my skin colour. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
