Gosh - no one posts here any more!
Lots of good bargains on Amazon at the moment if you care to take a look - I've got a Metallic Rust one on its way!

I bought a medium Alvar in multicolour speckled for just over £33 a couple of weeks ago.  It’s a nice summery pale grey/blue with reds, white blue dashes.  The only problem I have with it is that the zips open from right to left.  The Alvar I already have has zips which open in the other direction.  I wear the cross body bag over my right shoulder resting on my left hip.  I’m right handed and somehow the new bag seems awkward.  Perhaps it’s just me!

Still a big fan of Kipling though.  I got an Amiel at the end of autumn last year which is very summery so not had much chance to use it up till now.  I prefer to use that with just the grab handles.  I have about 20 bags and 3 suitcases.

Oh weird that the Alvar has changed it zips like that, it only takes something like that to put you off a bag doesn't it? I used to have quite a few of those.
I go for smaller ones now myself - though at present I don't really need a bag at all - but that does not stop me!
I've got the Arto S coming - but looking now I think the zips on that are the odd way too! https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kipling-Handbags-Curiosity-25x21x3-centimeters/dp/B07TXWPWHZ/ref=sr_1_46?dchild=1&qid=1593249912&refinements=p_89%3AKipling&s=shoes&sr=1-46&th=1

I love my little silver Laurie but had to pay extra to get from the US - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kipling-Laurie-Convertible-Crossbody-Size/dp/B07Z9PP23F/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=laurie&qid=1593250067&s=shoes&sr=1-2

Yes, the zips do look to be like my new Alvar. I think it’s just a matter of getting used to the change. Both cute bags though.  I have several small bags and chop and change according to what I’m doing and my mood.  Oh, and what colour my outfit is!

I only have one Kipling bag I don’t like.  Wish I could remember the name .  It’s medium sized with two outer Velcro sides and a zipped middle and 2 sets of straps/handles.  I just can’t get on with it.  My friend has the same bag in a different colour and uses it constantly.

Probably my my favourite style is the Syro.  I’ve 2 different patterned ones of that.  I also like the Deana and have either 2 or 3 of those.  Is it an addiction do you think?  All the bargains on Amazon at the moment at very tempting!

Yes there was a very cheap Syro the other day - under £20.  I often recycle mine by selling on old ones I'm fed up of on ebay - I didn't get out much before lockdown due to health issues so my stuff was like new - but I still like getting new ones!  And I enjoy watching them on QVC - but always buy on Amazon as its cheaper - or on ebay.
I've got a big one with blue and yellow type flowers - a bit big really but useful when I was able to go to craft classes.  I've also discovered I don't really like ones with flaps over the top - just with zips.
That bag you don't like may be a Fairfax - seems everyone was mad over it - I licked one up in charity shop but it never suited me either.

I have looked back over my Amazon account and the disliked bag is an Orelie in rust.  I’ve got the matching New Money purse too.  I like the colour but not the bag.  I have never sold anything on eBay but it is a good idea as the bag is in perfect condition.  I absolutely agree on flaps.  Just a nuisance.  I’m off to search for cheap Syros now!

With ebay, so long as you buy the bag at a good price on Amazon you can pretty much get most of your money back so long as you have not used it much.

It’s amazing how the prices fluctuate.  If you see what you want at the right price, grab it!  Has the new bag arrived and are you pleased?
