I have the large fairfax, I use as my everyday bag for work. Is the defea bigger than the lge fairfax?

To be honest, there's not much difference when you put them side by side, but when open the Defea is just one large bag with a big flat base, whereas the Fairfax has lots of smaller pockets so personally I think the organisation is better.

Sorry I couldn't figure out how to rotate these pics, but hopefully they will give you an idea. The Defea is Flash Blue and the Fairfax is Royal Red:

Also, sorry for expanding the text screen - I'm a Luddite and couldn't figure out how to resize the photos either! Hope the pics help a bit though.

Also, thinking about what Snap-ant said about water getting into the pockets on the Fairfax on a wet ride, one of my main grumbles about the Fairfax is the velcro fastenings as I just feel it's not as secure as I would like. I'd prefer all the pockets to be zipped, but I haven't found another style I like as much as the Fairfax - though I think the Reth is a good one and it does have a number of zip pockets.

So far I've been pleasantly surprised at how well the velcro fastenings have held up. I've been using the medium Fairfax day in and day out for months and nothing has fallen out - though now it's stuffed so full of everything but the kitchen sink it's getting to the point that they won't fasten properly. I think I need to switch to the large Fairfax or something similar.

I like the Defea but even with the slightly longer handles it won't fit on my shoulder if I am wearing a coat. The Fairfax L is better for this, but I am not keen on the front velcro pocket.

    How about the Nagato?

I love talking about bags and comparing them all, the photos are even better.Thank you Scaredy cat.Beautiful colours-two of my faves! I also like the bright purple and grape!
The rachele seems to have rave reviews but it's not really pulling on my heartstrings not sure why?!
Does anyone have an opinion on the gracy plse?
I havent heard of the Nagato, so I'm off to have a peek.Thank you everyone ♥

    Debt-free and Proud!
The Nagato is very similar to the Reth - which in the lrge version is good and has all zipped pockets. As some others have said I too prefer zips to velcro.

Yes, I have to admit for the outer pockets I prefer zips as they feel more secure.:-)
Have to say the nagato has now been added to my list! Its getting longer instead of shorter! Lol:rotfl:
