Orange Alvar on Amazon now for around £27.
Great shape and style but I have also found a similar style at a bargain price on ebay - brand name Aspen - I have a super red one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Aspen-Lightweight-Red-Crossbody-Bag-/262113812322? for Christmas time at a bargain price of £5 + £2.80 postage - comes in other shaded =s of purple, beige, navy, black and pink
My local market has a stall selling look a like Kipling bags- they are near identical but nowhere near the same quality. I can't remember what they are branded though. I'll stick with the real Kipling ones as they just last and lastI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Oh the Aspens aren't look-alikes as such - just a similar shape and fabric.
I know the sort of copies you mean.
Also Spirit bags are the same lightweight construction.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
I was in the Kipling store in London , I liked the look of the Sunita , it's a good sized bag but I'm not sure as it has just one large compartment and a front Velcro one under the flap .
The one I saw was in cool grey which is a lovely colour that would go with just about anything.0 -
Great bargain on some Syros on Amazon if its a style you like.
The DARK NUDE above http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kipling-Womens-Syro-K131-Shoulder/dp/B00WWJBINK/ref=sr_1_23?s=shoes&ie=UTF8&qid=1448385219&sr=1-23&keywords=kipling+bag is only £21.28
and there is a darker shade called GOLDEN BROWN (though more yellowy) for £24. Not bad when RRP is £65.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -

Thank you 7Roland8. I have ordered the Syro in nude. Ostensibly as a gift but once I set eyes on it, well could be a present to myself!0

Thanks Snap-ant. I saw a Kipling bag in a shop yesterday. I really liked it but the assistant wouldn't budge on the price of £69.:(
Thanks to your moneysaving tip, I've just looked at the above website (for the first time, didn't know about it) and it's been reduced to £41.40.:T
