Strange I was thinking about this yesterday I am right handed but always wear my Kipling bags on left side if I wear on right side bags don't feel right
I am a right handed too but I wear my bags on the left side. That means the monkey is leading the way!
My daughter says that I am a Kipling pusher as I have infected a couple of my friends with my addiction. My best friend started when I bought her an Orielle for her birthday which is her favourite bag still. Another friend has seen my collection and now has several of her own. It is her birthday this week and I got her a New Money wallet in a hot pink colour. I was tempted to keep it for myself. It was yummy.0 -

I have been looking for a cross body bag that will carry an SLR camera as well as purse & phone etc on a city break. I saw Kipling bags on Amazon , can anyone recommend me one of the bags that might fit the bill.

I put my SLR in a Gracy. I also manage to fit a couple of extra lenses in for day trips.:T0

I'm not saying a Syro definitely wouldn't fit an SLR, but it wouldn't be my first choice. The Syro isn't a bad size but it's a fairly flat sort of bag, if you know what I mean. Also the main pocket has a divider (which some people prefer to just cut out). I would personally go for something more boxy, like maybe a Reth, or even a Fairfax.
Also if you take a look at the first post on this thread, 7roland8 has done a list showing the capacity/volume of many of the bags, so that may help you compare.
Also take a look at the Defea, which is very popular. It's quite a large bag, bigger than the others I've mentioned.0 -

I would second this & say a Fairfax or Orelie as a nice 'boxy' bag with big middle compartment :TOur Family Motto ~If all else fails - read the instructions...
