Please don't go buying anything from China/Korea, it's mostly mass produced cheap tatt and not worth the postage (which is free!), I've made this mistake before, they make shoes and bags out of the sort of awful fabric you don't even get in pound shops over here!

The genuine ones are made in China most of the time as well though.

7roland8 - that's exactly what I was thinking! I nearly posted yesterday to ask if anyone had tried these because I was quite tempted, and thinking, like you, they are all made in China anyway... then I started to wonder about things like the quality of the zips.

They look ok and they're cheap enough. Has anyone tried them?

I've had some bad experiences with stuff bought from China on ebay as well - but also had some very good experiences. I bought some ice skating dresses for my daughter from China a few years ago (well, probably about 10 years ago actually!), and they were fantastic! Also bought costume jewellery from China that was complete rubbish and fell apart the first time it was worn.

You might be right about these bags, but it's so hard to tell. That's why I was asking if anyone had actually bought any. The seller's feedback looks reasonable, but feedback is left within the first couple of months so we don't know if the bags fell apart after 6 months, do we?

EDIT Also the prices they are asking on ebay are similar to what we often manage to get on Amazon for the real thing, so it's probably best to wait for Amazon prices to drop... but just the same I'm a bit tempted by these.

I don't know how to do an amazon link without a ref appearing in the link (does anyone know how to do that, please let me know?) anyhoo there does seem to be quite a few offers on Kiplings - if you go to the main page , then click today's deals there is a section with up to 50% off Kipling including creativity purses at £10.12 seems to be the red colours that are on offer.

Yes I bought that a while back when on offer. used for a funeral and selling on ebay with a bid for the same price - that person obviously doesn't know of where we get them on Amazon!

Bought two small ones on ebay a while back with no monkies for about £12 and then had a clear-out and sold for £39 - for the third time listing though - so you can never tell.

Love the red chevrons but no funds at present.

I bought an imitation from Amazon a couple of years back. It was about £15 and lasted as long as you'd expect a £15 bag to last for (probably about 6 months). It was fine for what it was.

DD bought a fashion type bag from New look not a fake or anything just a back pack type thing for almost £20 never even lasted 2 days for high school. I love kipling and have had some of them years, with a wash they good as new.
