drat and double drat!! Every time I am online when the offer starts the bags go for about £29 and when I miss it they are £12!!

That seems really unfair - maybe you could try the online chat and see what they say

Check everyday for upcoming deals and get on site just before 6. MKe sure your logged in and saved details make it quicker to get it. I've missed a few before but was determined to get this one

Thanks. I thought about going on the chat while it happened. But I find them so slow at typing etc that the 8 minutes that I had left would have passed before they had even understood the problem. I really doubt they would do anything now.

I had a problem with them last night. A parcel that was sent to me with four bags was damaged. I wasn't even told by Amazon but discovered on the Hermes tracking page (it was sent via Hermes for some reason). It said it has been damaged and was returned to sender, I never even saw it.

When I contacted Amazon on the chat they wanted to send a replacement parcel. Fine. Only problem was two of the items were sold out in "my colour". I had got some really good deals which were no longer available, price wise, and was very upset. I even had to speak to a manager about it as the person on the chat was, frankly, hopeless. I expected them to honour the price and that I could pick another colour instead. But oh no. So two bags were replaced and should be on their was now. The other two were refunded. I really wanted those bags/colours and were therefore very disappointed to be forced to have a refund. I find Amazon to be, generally, very good at customer service so this both surprised and disappointed me

Surely if it's damaged by Hermes surely they should cover the cost so you get the price you hot it at. Even if you had to wait for it to come back in and get the bag at same price. That's annoying. I hope you get the bagsational. Have a word with them

First of all I'm not a "black and white" person. I like white, I like black, but not so much together. So this was a gamble for me...!

The print looks very black and white to me on the screen. In real life the "white" is not white but a cream (almost extremely light beige) colour...sometimes I almost think it has a smallest hint of pink in it, but the next moment I don't.

The "black" in the pattern is not completely black at all either. Half of it, or maybe even less, is a true back, the rest is a dark grey. I like this. It gives the pattern more life and depth.

From being worried if I would really like the colouring or not, I actually like it a lot better in real life. And it's a really nice roomy bag too. The handles and bottom are black leather, the long shoulder strap is the usual black Kipling strap. And the "ends"/short sides plus the top of the bag has the usual black Kipling fabric.

The lining inside is the lace pattern in a darker version. Very classy! Oh and it has a nice kinda pewter-y metal monkey attached too.

I really like my bag and I'm glad I went for it when the price was so great.
