I saw the Alvar disappear this morning, was a bit disappointed ... I tried for the one earlier in the week, and clicked on it as soon as it went live, but it went immediately to 100% claimed. I wonder if there is something going wrong somewhere with that one.

Me too.

I was lucky enough to have a short break in Las Vegas in October and I went to the Kipling outlet store there. The manager was a really nice guy, very chatty. I was looking for an Alvar then and he said they rarely get them because they tend to sell out at full price - apparently they're popular with men too as man-bags because they're the right size for an ipad/tablet. I only bought a purse in the end because he had mostly bright pinks and oranges which are not really my style. There was an older Spanish-speaking couple in there with a shopping list to buy stuff for their family to take home - the suitcases and bags were piling up, their bill must have been astronomical!!

To me the prices didn't seem any better than the discounts we get here.

Well Syro disappeared too - I clicked as soon as it went 'live' - then to look at colours - only to find its not in basket and all goen adn waitlist full - how weird is that!

Makes you wonder if they're not putting Kipling stuff to entice us and then pulling at last second?

I am on waitlist for Syro - but looks like beige - anyhow number 45 so probably won't get - have a grey one coming in post today anyway!!

Yep Syro only came up in Caffe Latte for wait list for me - didn't want it but missed it anyway!
