The Heather Olive (the colour of the Defea/Amazon deal bag) is a really nice colour in real life.

For anyone who's got anything in the QVC-only colour "zebra green" (which to my eyes is more of a brown than a green!) ---> this "heather olive" is the same colour as the brown(green?!) colour in that pattern.

Flash Blue Alvar, £18.50 at Debenhams. Check the review, says it's the wrong size - still a bargain though!

so it's the extra small when you read the review - just as well - or I'd have had to buy that too. I want the largest Alvar.

Hope they both arrive. A month ago I ordered a bag and it never turned up, always wonder where it went! Amazon agreed a refund. Really annoying.

Trying to convince myself I need both the Joslyn and Defea lol.

Next I would like a patterned bag. Great thread by the way.

Well, I was out until 2.40, checked the Defea deal, hit the waiting list button and it appeared in my basket. I saw that as an omen and checked out as quick as I could. Hope I like the colour as much as I like the style, lol.

Oh thats a shame Geri. Sad when everyone is talking about their great deals, and you've missed out.

I never knew about the Lightning Deals till this week, when the 20% had finished - would have loved one of last weeks, the Gabbie or Gracey, but I work Mon - Wed usually and don't get much chance to look. Had a day off today and was determined to have a go. Usually likesmaller cross body bags, but as so many love the Defea, decided to give it a try.

Hope you get a bargain soon:)
