I hope it does then I can decide which bag to keep the Alva or the Gracy . Only just noticed it looks like the Alvar got two zips across the top :T hope so
Your bag is a lovely colour
My Alvar does. I got that and the smaller brown snake one for holidays and I love them both.
I don't mind some Velcro fastenings to keep essential but none valuable things in but like zipped sections for security too.0 -

Great for when winter draws in when we need gloves etc the extra room will come in handy. Reminds me so much of the old Europa and Jeel in looks. K.
Yes I'm not keen on black and it would have been too big for me - similar to the Reth with all the zips - but a bit bigger - ok if you carry a lot - sold mine same day on ebay!Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -

Don't mean to pry, but did you make a profit? Have you got any tips as I don't seem to have much luck on ebay. I usually put good photos on and do an auction listing with a start price of what I want to get (usually about the price they have sold for recently on ebay). Recently tried a BIN listing using a proper photo from google like the professionals do and priced around same as other BINs but still no luck. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Not keen on dropping the price much as taking into account postage costs and ebay and paypal fees I think I would be lucky to make a fiver profit.0 -
Yes ebay charges quite a lot these days - most Gabbies were listed for about £60 so I put mine at £38 and it went fine - added £5.60 for postage which cost me about £4.20 in the end.
Didn't make much really once ebay fees taken off etc but as I only paid £20 I didn't want to be greedy.
By the time I have to drive to PO as well though doubt I would make a living from it!
Ebay fees were £4.76 to insert and sell and Paypal took £1.68.
Oh not as bad as I thought - full selling price was £43.60 including p&p and I ended up with about £32.96.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
Personally i always think its a bit bad when people use the Amazon images in their ebay listings and I always just pop one up first and then add a pile of my own.
If doing an action I always start with a realistic figure - and would never start at 99p like some do. That way if you only get one bidder its not the end of the world.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -

I've always used my own pictures in the past - but it seems like people who use 'proper' images get better prices. Anyway, I wouldn't know how to c&p them into my listing. I've listed a bag I got a few months ago - found some pics that came up on google images, not off any particular website and they appeared to be the same as what other people were using, so my techie son copied one of those across for me. Still not sure if it's ok to do that but I thought google images was better than taking it off a proper website. Anyway, it hasn't worked, still no sale!
Looks like my practi-cool will be going back. One of the straps has a black mark on, looks like an oil stain or something. Hopefully they can just exchange it though. Too much of a bargain to just return for a refund
Pleased with the Gabbie - lovely and roomy, and I really like all the external pockets0 -

I always think if you make a few pounds on a bag it always funds a bag that you really want. :T0 -
