Help!
I need a bag for going on holiday to Thailand, enough to fit in my purse, phone, small camera and a small bottle of water and a small cover up for temples etc....should I get the Rachele or the Salvar??

I just ordered a Kipling Raisin in Ketchup.. total was £19.20

Does this bag have velcro?0 -
Layla - the normal Alvar would be ok but the small one not really big enough for water etc.
Alvar = 5 litre capacity
Small Alvar = 1.5 litre capacity
Rachele - 9 litre capacity.
Not seen a Rachele myself and has sizes from Kipling site.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
Nikki - think the front pocket of the Raisin fastens with velcro by the look of it.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0

This is the size of the Rachele:
And this is the Alvar (regular size):
Easier to judge when you can see them on a person!0 -

I really like mine and the colour is gorgeous! I just wish the front pocket had a magnetic closure or a popper instead of velcro.0

Thanks for all the info

Next dilemma, think I want the Alvar - what colour? Tangerine? True Blue or warm grey? Do the lighter colours mark easily?

Warm Grey is a medium sort of beige - not too light like cream and great for the 'safari' look.
The orange I have had once and returned and was not too keen - don't know why really.
True blue is quite dark and not what I would pick for summer - but then if its getting knocked around a lot perhaps a better colour.
Personally mine never really get dirty but they seem to clean really easily.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0
